Dear bloggvisitors,
From today I will post pictures from the Scottish Islands, hoping to tempt you to travel to the Hebrides, Orkney or Shetland. The photos are from my tours to those Scottish Islands in the Atlantic/North Sea. This one is from the deserted island of St Kilda. Those small cleits are dotted on the slopes of the island. The islanders used them for storing birds, turf and eggs.
Cleit, or old Norwegian klettr, St Kilda.
